THE SHORT ANSWER

Play at dragonkind.com. Use the official sign-in flow, then follow the story choices shown in your session. Ember Ledger is a separate, unofficial companion for keeping notes; it does not run the game or assign a dragon.

Begin at the official entrance

The game entrance identifies new candidates and returning riders and asks for an email address. Start there when you want to play. An article, fan quiz, or result card on another domain is not the same experience.

Keep the game in one tab and your notes in another. This makes it easier to distinguish an in-game instruction from advice you read elsewhere. You do not need to enter your game email or sign-in code into a companion notebook.

Understand what players are doing

Launch-day players describe receiving a wing, section, and squad assignment before making choices during Threshing. Their reports include both successful bonds and failed attempts. These accounts help explain the experience, but they do not establish a complete set of rules.

For a first attempt, read the scene in front of you and choose how you want to respond. A route copied from someone else can omit context, depend on a different branch, or contain options your session never presents. Going in without a promised answer sequence also preserves the discovery.

Keep a short, useful record

A few accurate notes are more useful than a long reconstruction written from memory. Record information while it is visible, and leave a field blank when you do not know the answer. You can always add detail later.

  • Write the date and the assignment shown in your game.
  • Summarize the scene in your own words, then note the option you selected.
  • Separate an encounter from a confirmed bond.
  • Record a failure, interruption, or final result accurately.

After the attempt

If you reach a result, save the labels you care about before sharing a screenshot. If the page stops responding, note where it happened instead of assuming that the interruption counts as an outcome. The game itself is the authority on your current state.

When comparing notes with another player, begin with the scene and available options. Matching the last choice alone is not enough to establish that two attempts followed the same path. Our guides describe evidence and uncertainty so you can explore without mistaking a reported experience for a rule.

Questions along the way

Is Ember Ledger the official Dragonkind game?+

No. It is an independent fan companion. The playable experience is on dragonkind.com.

Should I use a walkthrough for my first attempt?+

That is a spoiler preference. If you use one, treat its path as a player report and compare it with the options actually shown in your session.
